Why I need an indexing rotary table?
The index rotary table has many additional functions to machine.
With the indexing rotary table, you can:
Straight cut at any angle
Cut a circle or arc into your part.
Cutting large diameter holes in parts without need for larger drill bits or more robust milling cutters
Cut complex curves into your parts
Drilling
Accurate cutting of gears
Drill precisely spaced holes in bolt circle
When used with index head and indexing plate, the index table can be rotated in controlled increments to allow precise angles to be milled on the stock or locating bolt holes. And the operator is not limited to place the rotary table on its workbench. They can be mounted horizontally and used in conjunction with the tail-stock for milling between centers. This is very useful when drilling or drilling a circular gear.
Used in conjunction with a three-jaw chuck, the index rotary table can hold round parts, precisely mill diameters, various sizes of boring, milling at any angle required for ?work-piece, and cutting the hex face for surface of ?wrench Hold.
Installation
The index turntable can also be mounted on a tilting table to mill the compound corners. This allows machine shop to mill more complex parts and do more business.
By index table, the operator can easily mill curve
